Fred Duffy, born in the Diamond, in 1934 (where Ronaghan’s Pharmacy now resides) left home at the tender age of 16 years old to go to study dentistry in UCD. However, it didn’t quite work out as originally planned. This is a snapshot of a remarkable life, adventures and more besides. We introduce Fred Duffy, still going strong and writing more books at 88 years young.
